Amid ongoing power tussle in Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (), which owns , seems far from getting resolved. In a dramatic twist, the requsition board meeting convened on June 30 to take a call on the resignation tendered by from the post of managing director was cancelled late on Tuesday.

"Eight out of 13 member unions have sent letters to cancel the requisition board meeting, the same has been cancelled," GCMMF said in an official statement. The eight members are affiliated with BJP, sources said. Earlier, majority of board of directors had asked Sodhi to hold a requisition meeting to discuss the issue of BM Vyas' resignation. Subsequently a special board meeting was called on 30 June.The meeting was called in the wake of some of the dissident board members opposing GCMMF chairman 's unilateral decision to accept Vyas' resignation.

According to sources, the meeting was cancelled following Bhatol's letter to all the member unions explaining the reasons for accepting Vyas' resignation. However, rebel members could not be contacted for their comment.
