Small commercial vehicles sales jump three fold to about 3,700 units

Hinduja Group firm Ashok Leyland has posted a growth of 2.53 per cent in total sales in January 2013, with 10,561 units as against 10,300 units in the same month a year ago.

Commercial vehicle sales excluding small commercial vehicle (SCV), dropped 25.4 per cent to 6,863 units in January 2013, compared to 9,200 units sold in January, 2012.

The sales of SCV, Dost, were up more than three-fold at 3,698 units this January, as against 1,100 units during the same month last year.
