French technology and outsourcing company Capgemini
has appointed Ananth Chandramouli
as Head of Local Businesses and Services for India and West Asia. He will be responsible for formulating local go-to-market strategy, driving its revenue growth, managing client relationships, collaborating with partners and developing its talent for the India and West Asian markets.
Chandramouli will take over from Kishor Chitale
who moves to a new role in the Asia Pacific region
and will be responsible for building the Cloud Services strategy and roadmap for Capgemini
and the Middle East. Chandramouli has been involved in setting up and driving business in India across various sectors including Energy & Utilities, Manufacturing, Retail and Telecom when he held leadership roles in Infosys prior to joining Capgemini.

Chandramouli has also been involved in the Smart Grid project apart from co-authoring a seminal report for the Ministry of Power on the adoption of Digital Technology for distribution utilities which culminated in a large reforms program funded by the Government of India.
