New York-based StrawberryFrog sets up office in Mumbai
StrawberryFrog, the New York-based creative hotshop, which executed the popular Rise campaign for Mahindra & Mahindra last year, has been launched in India. The agency had announced plans to set up shop almost three years ago, but had failed to do so then. It has finally set up a local office with ex-Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH) India creative head Raj Kamble in charge of operations.
StrawberryFrog, which has won numerous creative awards worldwide, counts PepsiCo and Procter & Gamble amongst some of its other clients. Its move here is also being viewed as a means to service these businesses though the agency as well as the advertisers concerned have not indicated anything yet. PepsiCo has its clutch of agencies such as JWT and Taproot on its rolls in India, while P&G works with Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi and BBDO here.
Besides New York, StrawberryFrog has offices in Sao Paulo and Amsterdam. The fourth one is now in Mumbai.
