A new campaign, featuring Ajay Devgn, will go on air this month, Dabur India said in a statement.
"Hajmola and Ajay Devgn have a lot in common; both are hugely popular among both young and old, and have delighted their consumers for several years. It gives us great pleasure to welcome Devgn as the new face of Hajmola," Dabur India Ltd Category Head-Digestives Ajay Parihar said.
The company will also be initiating a high visibility drive across key markets, besides sampling the various Hajmola variants across eating joints in various cities driving the brand's fun and digestion connect, Parihar added.
According to the company, over 2.6 crore Hajmola tablets are consumed in India daily.
Shares of Dabur were trading at Rs 129.40 on the BSE, down 0.46 per cent from its previous close.
