HMSI sales up 41% in Feb

<p>Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today reported 41.3% growth in its total sales for February at 206,043 units.

The company's total sales stood at 145,819 units in the corresponding month of the previous year, HMSI said in a statement.

Motorcycle sales jumped 26% to 83,061 units in February this year as against 65,890 units in February 2011, it added.

The company reported an increase of 53.8% in its scooter sales to 122,982 units from 79,929 units in February 2011.
