Lenovo aims at 22% market share in PC sales in FY18

To increase market share, the company is expanding the retail network by opening 100 more exclusive stores this fiscal, in addition to the existing 600 across the country

Lenovo aims at 22% market share in PC sales in FY'18

Chinese electronics goods manufacturer is aiming at a 22 per cent in in the current financial year, an official of the company said.

"Our present as per GfK data is 20 per cent. We want to take it to 22 per cent in the current fiscal taking it to the number three spot", Rajesh Thadani, head and ED of consumer and ecommerce said.

He said that the GfK data reflects actual in the market while IDC numbers indicate the volume of shipments taking place.

According to IDC data, Lenovo's is 17.5 per cent, which is targeted to grow to 20 per cent, he said.
