NPPA revises three bulk drug prices

The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has fixed/revised the prices of bulk drugs Phenyl Butazone, Aspirin and Ibuprofen.
 
According to a release issued on the website of the Press Information Bureau, the price of has been fixed at Rs 352/Kg, aspirin at Rs 134/kg and Ibuprofen at Rs 384/kg.
 
"These notified prices were fixed/revised vide notification in the Gazette of India Extraordinary S.O.No.1133(E) to 1135(E), dated 15th October 2004," the release said, and added that the notifications are also available on the website: www.nppaindia.nic.in.
 
The revised notified prices shall become effective within 15 days from the date of notification in the official gazattee, the release said.
