PubMatic to hire 400 professionals for Pune unit

PubMatic, the digital media platform for publishers and an inventory automation advertising technology company is planning to recruit over 400 IT professionals in the next 18 months.

It has set up a new facility, which accommodates over 240 staff members. Along with research and development, this facility will cater to quality assurance, client support, product management and support services.

Commenting on this development, Mukul Kumar, co-founder and senior vice president - engineering said, "PubMatic gives premium publishers a real-time media selling platform for managing revenue and brand strategy. Today we are a strong team of 240 and would like to increase our talent pool to 400 plus in the next 18 months. We are looking at multilevel growth and believe this will happen once we have the right talent acquired.

Speaking on this, Anand Das, co-founder and CTO of the company said, "We have seen tremendous growth in the last two years and with the growing market for mobile-based advertising, we are now keen on strengthening our presence thereby hiring the right talent. At PubMatic we are working on cutting-edge technologies and solving online advertising industry's most complex problems."
