Sobha Developers Q1 net profit soars 73%

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 26 crore in the corresponding period last year

today reported 73.08% increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 45 crore for the first quarter ended June 30.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 26 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The consolidated total operating inceom during the first quarter also went up by 56% to Rs 433.2 crore from Rs 277.7 crore in the year-ago period, Sobha Developers said in a statement.

Commenting on the numbers, Sobha Developers Vice-Chairman and Managing Director J C Sharma said: "The cash flow from operations continues to remain positive. During the quarter, the company generated an operational cash flow of Rs 73 crore. We are confident of achieving our guidance for the current fiscal as well."

Shares of Sobha Developers today closed 2.32% up at Rs 362.20 apiece on the BSE.
