, in which Infosys' co-founder S D Shibulal's daughter Shruti Shibulal is a key promoter, is charting out expansion plans post the opening of its first premium resort in Coorg, Karnataka.

Next on the agenda is to have similar resorts in Kodaikanal and Alappuzha, for future business growth.

Tamara Real Estate Holding has set up 'The Tamara Hospitality', a strategic business unit at the corporate level, to develop and create value through the hospitality business. The company also plans to foray in the long stay/business and urban hospitality segment with the 'Lilac' Serviced Apartment Brand, which has its first property coming up in Bangalore in late 2012.

The company has also forayed into organic foods with “Organic World”, under which the company is currently in the process of setting up certification, supply chains and retail concepts for this emerging market.

In addition, Tamara Group is engaged in diverse activities including philanthropy with Advaith Foundation, education through The Samhita Academy, charity through Sarojini Damodaran Foundation, plantation and farms management with Sowparnika Integrated Farms, and private investment management with Innovations Investment Management.
