The Wadhwani Foundation, the not-for-profit organisation founded by the US-based NRI billionaire, Romesh Wadhwani which aims to accelerate economic development in emerging economies, is now taking its entrepreneurship model that it has been experimenting with in India to Bangladesh. Wadhwani is also the founder, Chairman & CEO of Symphony Technology Group. The Bangladesh foray is the next stop for the NGO after India. On the foray, Ajay Kela, president and CEO, Wadhwani Foundation, said: “We have been in discussions with partners in Bangladesh this year and hope to establish the entrepreneurship programme there.” in Bangladesh this year (itself). No targets have been set as yet as these will be based on a joint agreement with the partners there.”
