2 killed in a fire break out at Maker Chamber in Mumbai

The blaze was said to be in control, the senior official from the fire brigade said

A major broke out early this morning at a residential building in south Mumbai, killing two persons, police and firefighters said.

"The broke out at the 20th floor of residential following which 10 tenders rushed to the spot," a senior official from the brigade said.

The incident took place in 'A' Wing of at at 6:37 a.m. and, therefore, there were people sleeping in the tower at the time of incident, an official from brigade control room said.

Two persons were killed in the while 11 others were rescued, according to police and firefighters.
