2G: CBI court to take cognisance of chargesheet on Jan 30

The investigating agency is also expected to file additional documents in the case

CBI special court will take cognizance of chargesheet filed against the then telecom secretary Shyamal Ghosh and three private companies including Bharti Cellular (now Bharti Airtel), Hutchison Max and Sterling Cellular (now Vodafone Essar) on January 30.

CBI is expected to file additional documents in this case. Special CBI judge O P Saini today granted additional two weeks’ time to CBI to file the documents. CBI had filed the chargesheet in this case on December 21, 2012.
