Alka India Targets Rs 50 Crore Exports In Three Years

The Ahmedabad-based textile unit Alka India Ltd is aiming at exporting goods worth Rs 50 crore in the next three years.

The company had bagged export orders worth Rs 9.41 crore during the first quarter of the current fiscal.

Registering a turnover of Rs 15 crore in the past fiscal, Alka has notched up a turnover of Rs 26 crore in the first quarter of the current year.

This follows the increasing popularity for cotton dresses worldover.

Alka India chairman and managing director Satish Panchariya said that the company has bagged three export orders in the first quarter of the fiscal itself, and is in negotiations with other companies as well.
