DU boy bags Rs 39-lakh placement

A student of Master of International Business-Master of Human Resources and Organisational Development (MIB-MHROD), management programmes under the department of commerce, Delhi University, has bagged a salary of Rs 39 lakh per annum with an international company.

With a batch size of 96 students, of which 75 per cent have got placements, MIB-MHROD had achieved an average domestic package for the current batch, close to Rs 8 lakh per annum with the highest domestic package offered at Rs 10 lakh.

Last year, the average package was Rs 7.2 lakh with Rs 9.5 lakh as the highest domestic salary. The lowest package offered was Rs 5 lakh.

Gaurav Gupta, student coordinator of media cell said, “Our image is improving. Big brands like Tatas and Times Group have visited our campus.”

Companies which who visited the campus were Deloitte Consulting, ICICI Bank, Tata Group, Wipro Technologies, IBM Consulting, HCL, Samsung, Bennett and Coleman, STC, HDFC Bank, Grail Research, Smartcube, Starwood Hotels, Setco Automotors, Usha International, Citixsys etc.
