ED to quiz accused in Jagan, Emaar, OMC cases

A special CBI court on Tuesday granted permission to the officials of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to question and record the statements of the accused in all the three high-profile cases in which the Central Bureau of Investigation had already filed multiple chargesheets. The ED secured permission for questioning the accused in the disproportionate assets charges involving Kadapa MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, mining irregularities case involving former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy and Emaar-APIIC township project irregularities case involving several persons including the government and the company officials.
