Flash strike by Western Railway motormen

Commuters on the Western Railway suburban network were put through hardships as more than 400 motormen working for Western Railway went on a flash strike today. Their list of demands included better working conditions and the implementation of the sixth pay commission

The motormen have been pressing for their demands for the past several weeks. On top of the agenda is the implementation of the Sixth Pay Commission, that will place them above guards as far as grade pay is concerned.
