The Hyderabad greenfield airport, which was held up due to the presence of a defence space laboratory within 20 km of its radius, seems to have finally got the green signal.

According to civil aviation ministry sources, the ministry of defence has agreed to remove certain structures that were interfering with the air traffic control.

The dispute was resolved after high-level talks between the Andhra Pradesh government, a stake holder in the airport, the civil aviation ministry, the defence ministry and the Prime Minister
