INDIA-ECONOMY-INFLATION-RBI:Inflation slows to 7.45 percent in October
India's wholesale price index (WPI) rose a slower-than-expected 7.45 percent in October from a year earlier, government data showed on Wednesday.
Analysts on average had expected an annual WPI rise of 7.96 percent. The annual reading for August was revised up to 8.01 percent.
Reserve Bank of India today said it there is no need to explain the monetary policy and it stands by monetary policy statement.
The announcement was made by Rajnath Singh even as he made it clear that India wanted to solve the border dispute with China
