Rss Chief To Meet Pm

In an exceptional gesture, RSS sarsanghchalak (chief) KS Sudershan and his senior colleagues- HV Seshadri and Madan Das Devi- are expected to meet Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Thursday to iron out differences between the government and the RSS-backed organisations.

The move is unusual as this will be first time that the RSS chief whose status as the final arbiter within the Sangh Parivar would be a party in the meeting aimed at resolving crisis arising out of constant attacks against the government by the VHP and the BMS-SJM combine.

In the meeting, there will be a lot of plain-talking from the Sangh as Sudershan is equipping himself with details of the issues that strained relationship between the government and the Sangh Parivar.

 

Sudershan held discussions with leaders of the VHP, BMS and SJM in the evening to discuss these issues.
