Thiruvanthapuram Technopark hosts meet on entrepreneurship

Technopark Thiruvananthapuram has organised an interactive event called International Programme on Promoting Innovation & Entrepreneurship through Incubation’ at its campus recently. The meet was attended by 43 participants representing 32 countries. The programme served to initiate international networking among incubators in developing countries to rapidly adapt internationally recognized best practices in incubation.

“The delegates were on a study tour to Technopark as part of the six-week programme organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) in Ahmedabad. It was a fruitful session with lot of exchange of ideas on incubation and innovation, said  Technopark CEO, Mervin Alexander.

The participants represented countries such as Bhutan, Ecquador, Bulgaria, Moldova, Egypt, Jordan, Ethiopia, Iran, Lithuania, Singapore, Nepal, Mongolia, Trinidad and T, Philippines, Peru, Panama, Uganda, Zambia, Uzbekistan, Seychelles, Vietnam, Nigeria, Tanzania, and India.
