Group C and Group D employees have been exempted from the policy. Transfers of group A and group B officers would be affected only between May 16 and June 30.

Transfers of gazetted officers would be done with the consent of the ministers concerned, the policy said.    

Teachers, nurses and doctors have been exempted from the policy. Transfers of doctors would be done as per the policy of the medical department, it said.

UP govt announces new transfer policy

The Uttar Pradesh government has announced a new transfer policy for its employees under which the transfers after June 30 will be done only with chief minister's consent.

Group C and Group D employees have been exempted from the policy. Transfers of group A and group B officers would be affected only between May 16 and June 30.

Transfers of gazetted officers would be done with the consent of the ministers concerned, the policy said.
