Bajaj Finserv has surged 6% to Rs 683 on back of over ten-fold jump in trading volumes. A combined 307,135 shares have already changed hands on the counter so far against an average less than 30,000 shares that were traded daily in past ten trading days. The stock opened at Rs 649, is currently trading at day’s high level on the National Stock Exchange.

According to media reports, the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) headed by Secretary of Economic Affairs Department will take up 42 foreign direct investment (FDI) requests including that of Bajaj Finserv, Fabindia Overseas and Tara Aerospace Systems on June 29.
