HCL Tech at ten-year high on signing multi-million dollar agreement

HCL Technologies has moved higher by 3.4% at Rs 661, also its ten-year high, after the information technology company said it has signed five-year multi-million dollar agreement with Manitowoc Cranes.

“Manitowoc and HCL have also set up a global engineering center in Pune, India to support Manitowoc’s design centers and accelerate its new product development initiatives in emerging regions such as India, China, and Brazil,” HCL Technologies said in a statement.

The stock opened at Rs 640 and hit a low of Rs 632 on the BSE. A combined 9.12 million shares have changed hands on the counter till late noon deals on both the exchanges.
