Sensex 348 points higher at closing bell

The Sensex today opened 41 points higher at 15,168, following positive cues from the Asian markets.

On the back of strong cues from the global markets, Sensex rallied to a high of 15,580.

The last one hour session however witnessed profit booking in realty stocks and finally ended ( provisonal) at 15,475, up 348 points.
