Sensex down 11pts; RComm, Maruti surge 2%

The Sensex is now down 11 points at 14,408.

Reliance Communications and Maruti have rallied over 2% each to Rs 518 and Rs 837, respectively.

HDFC Bank has advanced 1.5% to Rs 1,199, and ACC added 1.3% to Rs 883.

HDFC and Tata Steel are up around 1% each at Rs 1,739 and Rs 629, respectively.

Gujarat Ambuja and Bajaj Auto have slipped over 2% each to Rs 116 and Rs 2,200, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro has shed 1.4% to Rs 1,712. SBI, Hindalco and Infosys are down 1% each at Rs 1,334, Rs 146 and Rs 1,943, respectively.

Out of 2,600 stocks traded so far, 1,427 have declined, 1,089 have advanced and 84 are unchanged.
