The Wholesale Debt Market (WDM) segment of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 1,542.15 crore in 69 trades.

The 364-days Treasury bills (issue no.190413), which traded at Rs 420.00 crore at a weighted yield of 8.25%, the 8.79% Government securitires maturing in 2021, which traded at Rs 130.00 crore at a weighted yield of 8.55% and the 182-days Treasury bills (issue no. 310812), which traded at Rs 125.00 crore at weighted yield of 8.42%.
During the week ended today, the total turnover was Rs 11,288.34 crore and the total number of trades during the week at 464.
The highest amount of trade during the week was at Rs 3,521.56 crore as on May 9, while the lowest volume Rs 1,437.14 crore as on May 10.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 8.07%, 8.36%, 8.58% and 8.65%, respectively.
The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 90 days was 8.41%, it was 8.40% for bills of 91-182 days tenure, and 8.24% for bills of 183-365 days'tenure.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs.8,227.64 crore, trading in Non-Government securities was at Rs 3,060.70 crore, representing 72.89% and 27.11% of the total traded value, respectively, the NSE release said.
