With 13 nominations, Drake set a new record for the most nominations beating Michael Jackson's 11 nods in 1984.

Among the nominations for the 29-year-old rapper are 'Artist of the Year', 'Favorite Male Artist' and 'Favorite Album' in two categories (pop/rock and rap/hip-hop) for his 2016 album, 'Views.'
