Former United States (US) President Jimmy Carter on Thursday collapsed due to dehydration here and was hospitalized.
Carter along with his wife, Rosalyn Carter, was inspecting the construction work of a Habitat for Humanity house when all of a sudden he collapsed.
He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for rehydration.
A Habitat for Humanity spokesman said that Carter, 92, was okay.
After the Presidency, the Carters have been doing charity via nonprofit Habitat for Humanity, and have built or renovated more than 4,000 Habitat homes.
