The producers of 'Game of Thrones' has confirmed that the cult fantasy series will end after seven seasons.
Show creators David Benioff and Dan Weiss have revealed that they will use the upcoming episodes to direct the storyline towards the end of the series, Contactmusic reported.
Benioff told Vanity Fair that if they are going to go seven seasons, which is the plan for the series then season four is right down the middle, the pivot point.
He further added that it was the goal that they had from the beginning but to start on a show and say that your goal is seven seasons will be the height of lunacy.
