As the five-time MP from Gorakhpur is set to take oath as the Chief Minister tomorrow, the city seems to be rejoicing at the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) announcement.

Welcoming the decision, supporters in Gorakhpur rejoiced and burst crackers, expressing their happiness and excitement over the same.

Supporters in Prime Minister Modi's constituency Varanasi could not contain their excitement and celebrated it with 'dhol-baaje'.

Chief Minister congratulated Yogi Adityanath,saying that he hopes under him would reach new heights of development.

Meanwhile, Union Minister said the oath taking ceremony would take place at 2:15 p.m. tomorrow in the state in the presence of Prime Minister Modi and party president

Keshav Prasad Maurya and Sharma have been appointed as the Deputy Chief Ministers of the state.

Being the youngest member of the 12th at the age of 26, Yogi Adityanath's real name is Bisht.

Currently, Adityanath serves as the Mahant of Guru Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur, following the death of Mahanth Aavaidyanath on September 12, 2014.

The other contenders in the race were chief Keshav Prasad Maurya, Union Minister Manoj Sinha, leader Shrikant Sharma and Union Home Minister
