Manipur Chief Minister O. Ibobi Singh flagged off World War II Vintage Jeep Rally from Koirengei Old Air Field yesterday.
Apart from nine vintage jeeps, around 30 to 35 motorcycles and cycles also took part in this rally which was organised as a part of the Manipur Sangai Festival.
The main objective to organise this event was to spread a message of peace and reconciliation and evils of war.
The rally will culminate at the India Peace Memorial, Maibam Lotpa Ching.
