Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today meet President Pranab Mukherjee and brief him about the surgical strike carried out by the Indian Army across the Line of Control (LoC) on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday.
According to sources, the Prime Minister is also expected to brief President Mukherjee about the current security situation in the country.
The surgical strike was carried out across the LoC to neutralise the terrorists, who would have otherwise infiltrated into the Indian territory.
According to reports, around 50 militants have been reported to be killed and two Pakistan army soldiers have also lost their lives.
