TRS lauds real hero KCR's 'deeksha' for Telangana

The Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has hailed Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao as the 'real hero' for ignoring threats to his life and achieving statehood for despite all odds.

Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy said KCR proved all those of the opinion that statehood for Telanagana was not possible wrong.

"KCR ignored threats to his life and achieved Telangana. Many said was not possible, KCR proved them wrong," he said.

The Chief Minister's daughter and Member of Parliament K. Kavitha were among those present in the function held at Bhawan in the national capital.
