Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises
The Nifty January 2018 futures traded at 10641.40, a premium of 4.40 points over Nifty's spot closing of 10637 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 4.67 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 3.94 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 13.40 points or 0.13% to settle at 10,637, its record closing high.
Reliance Industries January 2018 futures traded at 943.10, at a premium over spot closing of 940. DLF January 2018 futures traded at 271.25, at a premium over spot closing of 270.65. Tata Motors January 2018 futures traded at 436.75, at a premium over spot closing of 435.50.
SBI January 2018 futures traded at 305.50, at a premium over spot closing of 303.90.
The January 2018 F&O contracts expire on 25 January 2018.
