At least 25 inmates were killed in a fight between rival gangs in a prison in Brazil, according to police sources.
Seven of the dead were beheaded and another six were set on fire in the riot at the Prison Farm of Monte Cristo, the police said on Sunday.
The riot occurred during visiting hours and about 100 relatives of prisoners were detained for several hours before being released by police, EFE news reported.
