All interrogation must be recorded on CCTV, says Shatrughan

The Bharatiya Janata Party MP was reacting to last month's suicide of former bureaucrat B.K. Bansal's family and the death of a 22-year-old in a Jharkhand police station this month.

Bansal was being probed by the in a bribery case while Minhaz Ansari was arrested on charge of spreading "objectionable messages" over beef on WhatsApp.

Sinha said it was "time for action" following the alleged custodial death of Ansari and the suicides by the Bansals "due to torture".

He urged the authorities to act against the culprits. "Bring culprits to book with stern deterrent action."
