Dawood gang's activities didn't figure in Modi-Prachanda talks: MEA

The activities of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's gang in was not discussed during the Sunday meeting between Prime Minister Modi and his Nepali counterpart Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', the Ministry of External Affairs said on Monday.

Both leaders agreed to expedite all ongoing projects in the developmental and energy sectors as also community-based projects, MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup told the media here.

"Prachanda raised the issue of anti-dumping investigation on jute products from Nepal, to which the Prime Minister (Modi) said he would look into the matter," Swarup said.
