Delhi by-poll: AAP to field Harjeet Singh from Rajouri Garden

The Political Affairs Committee of the (AAP) has cleared the name of Harjeet Singh as its candidate for the by-in Delhi's Rajouri Garden assembly constituency.

The Rajouri Garden seat fell vacant after sitting legislator Jarnail Singh resigned from the Assembly to contest the Punjab Assembly elections.

Harjeet Singh, who has a transport business, started his career as a corporate executive and worked in various industries for approximately 25 years.

Singh is a graduate from the University.

According to the AAP, Singh is a committed party leader and one of the pillars of the party in west He held various positions including Observer of Rajouri Garden Vidhan Sabha seat.

The by-will be held on April 9.
