Edhi foundation in crisis as donations plummet

IANS  |  Islamabad

After the death of legendary social worker Abdul Sattar Edhi in July earlier this year, the donations of his Edhi Foundation have gone down, Dunya News reported on Monday.

Faisal Edhi, the son of Abdul Sattar Edhi, said at an event in the port city of Karachi that the foundation was going through a tough time since the death of his father and having trouble in conducting the rescue and relief work, said Dunya News.

Faisal Edhi also requested Pakistanis, based inside and outside the country, to help them in the time of crisis and in keeping the mission begun by Edhi going. He also said that despite all the tough time, Edhi's mission never ended.
