Actors Will Smith, Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott have been roped in to star in the upcoming live-action "Aladdin" remake.
Production banner Disney Pictures announced the three names at the D23 Expo on Saturday, reports variety.com.
Massoud will play the title role in the film while Scott and Smith will be seen as Princess Jasmine and Genie respectively.
Guy Ritchie was previously announced as director.
"Aladdin" was the highest-grossing film of the year in 1992 and won Academy Awards for best score and best song for "A whole new world".
