Quest to offer digital manufacturing solutions with Siemens

Engineering firm Quest Global on Tuesday said it has tied up with German multinational AG to jointly offer manufacturing solutions to diverse verticals.

"With twin offerings, we will provide a complete range of connected manufacturing solutions and set up two factory innovation hubs in Bengaluru and Belagavi," said Quest Chief Operating Officer Ajay Prabhu in a statement here.

As a product development and production engineering firm, Quest caters to aero engines, aerospace subsystems and components, industrial, medical devices, oil & gas, power and transportation.

"We will provide solutions to marquee global custom manufacturers and enable their transition into Industry 4.0. Our customers will also be able to leverage the benefits of transformation," he said.

The tie-up will enable Quest to leverage the benefits of transformation by replicating their designs and manufacturing process in real time.

Besides developing, testing and implementing solutions, both the partners can also validate their lean manufacturing ideas in their labs.

India Chief Executive Suman Bose said the twin partners would offer a suite of manufacturing solutions built on its twin portfolio.

"The factory innovation labs will support proof-of-concepts and illustrate how enterprise-wide digitalisation is transforming the global industry," he added.
