The national capital experienced a sunny day on Friday with the maximum temperature settling at 35.2 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, the Met office said. It has forecast similar weather on Saturday.
"There would be a clear sky on Saturday," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said, adding the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 34 and 18 degrees Celsius respectively.
Friday's minimum temperature was recorded 19 degrees Celsius, average for the season, while the humidity oscillated between a high of 80 and low of 39 per cent.
Thursday's maximum temperature settled at 35 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 19.8 degrees Celsius, the season's average.
