Supreme Court to hear BCCI issues on March 24

The Supreme will hold a hearing on Friday on a number of issues concerning including the implementation of the Justice Lodha panel recommendations and the Centre seeking the restoration of voting rights of the Railways, tri-services and the Association of Indian Universities.

The bench of Justice Dipak Misra decided to hear the matter on Friday as the bench comprising him and Justice A.M.Khanwilkar and Justice D.Y.Chandrachud could not sit on Monday.

As Justice Misra said that they would hear the matter on Friday, Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi said the hearing should take place at 2 p.m. as he would require two hours time to address the on some of the issues.

Seeking hearing on another day, senior counsel Kapil Sibal said that they have to attend the funeral of senior counsel Anil Divan who had passed away early on Monday morning.
