Bihar board exams: Tight security for students, tests to be video recorded

There is one invigilator for every 25 students

Business Standard

The School Examination Board's matriculation (Class X) examination got underway on Wednesday amid tight security. The exams are being video recorded, and Section 144 — which prohibits assembly of more than four people in an area — is clamped on a radius of 200 metres around examination centres. Students entering an exam hall are being frisked twice — first, outside at the entrance gate of examination hall and a second time inside the hall. There is one invigilator for every 25 students. No one is allowed to enter the examination hall with a mobile phone; only the centre superintendent can carry a mobile phone inside.
