Letters: Move on

Related News

Apropos the article “Look who’s talking now” (Swot, July 19), the reaction of our leaders may indicate, in the best case, a machismo and, in the worst case, sheer cussedness. They are behaving much like a delinquent youth who is digging in his heels only because the parents are being condescending! Why does our political class show so much touchiness about some comments and advice from foreign leaders or media? A mature person would simply say thank you and move on to do his own thing, by taking the advice into account, if and as necessary.
