<p>Given the deep cynicism in the global financial industry, it’s not surprising that the general public views it as the epitome of greed and corruption, especially after the 2008 financial meltdown. Therefore, news related to more frauds such as the recent Libor scandal does not generate passionate debates. It appears that people have largely given up and believe that nothing will change despite all the laws and regulations for this industry.
