
ONGC's chief Subir Raha loves a chat and hates sycophancy 

The first thing that strikes me as we enter the Residency Lounge on the tenth floor of The Park is that the restaurant was empty.

		</script> </DIV><p class='TableClas'>The first thing that strikes me as we enter the Residency Lounge on the tenth floor of The Park is that the restaurant was empty. The venue is, however, a favourite of my guest, ONGC chairman and managing director Subir Raha, and I soon discover why. </P>

</p><p class='TableClas'>&#34It&#39;s a great place for an adda,&#34 he said referring to that curiously Bengali phenomenon of an informal, agenda-less conversation. He went on: &#34Can you find any other decent food joint in Delhi where the crowd is missing?&#34 </P>

</p><p class='TableClas'>I couldn&#39;t but agree with him. The scene didn&#39;t change over the next two and a half hours of our lunch
