'Aisam hasn't sent divorce papers to his wife'

"No Aisam has not sent any divorce papers. Every couple has problems in their lives and I would request the media to let Aisam and his wife deal with the issue privately and respect their privacy," Aisam's father said.

Aisam tried the knot with Faha in a grand wedding ceremony in December last year with the event getting a lot of media attention.

"There are differences between the couple and Faha has gone to her parents' home in London," a family source said.

Source also said that the couple had faced problems since day one with Faha finding it difficult to adjust to her new life in Lahore.

The couple, who were engaged for six months prior to their wedding, had now decided to separate mutually.
